Recruits, the AvengersNet App is now available for download on select Android devices running Marshmallow (OS 6)! Remember to ask a parent or guardian for permission before you download.
If your Android device uses Marshmallow (OS 6), you will need to enable coarse location services to run the app.
When you first launch the app, you'll be prompted to enable location services. Please enable either “coarse” or “battery saving” mode as this will be required to connect your Gear to the app. If you select "Never remind me again about turning it on,” this will prevent your Gear from ever connecting with the app. If you do that, please follow the steps below to manually enable location services for the app.
Depending on what model of Android device you're using, your coarse location mode will be labelled either "coarse location" or "battery saving."
Follow these steps to enable location services:
- Go to your "Settings" menu.
- Select "Apps".
- Select "AvengersNet".
- Select "Permissions".
- Turn on "Location".
- Go back to "Device Settings".
- Find and select "Location".
- Tap "Mode".
- Select "Coarse Location" or "Battery Saving".
- Launch the app and prepare to save the world!
Over and out!
