Wearing the Repulsor Gear
Follow the directions below to put on your Repulsor Gear properly:
Slide the Repulsor on your arm, then insert four fingers through the strap so the Palm Cannon fits snugly in your palm. Make sure that the strap sits on the top of your hand, not on your knuckles, and the Repulsor is sitting on your forearm, behind your wrist.
Turn the ratchet on the bottom of the Repulsor clockwise until it is snug. Shake your arm to ensure it doesn't slip. Recruits, you'll want plenty of room around you to play before using your Repulsor Gear!
Connecting Repulsor Gear and Power Activator
Your Repulsor and Power Activator need to be connected the first time you use them.
- Power on both your Repulsor and Power Activator.
The Power Activator will turn green, then flash blue when connecting to the Repulsor.
J.A.R.V.I.S. will confirm a connection on the Repulsor, and the Power Activator will turn yellow.
If they don't connect, make sure both the Repulsor and Power Activator are powered on. You can also try moving them closer together.
If you still can't connect, try powering down the Repulsor and Power Activator, then turning them back on. Ensure that you are using a fresh set of batteries in both.
Using the Repulsor Gear
Use the thumb trigger or deploy button to aim the green laser sight at a target. Make sure you don't block the laser with your wrist!
Practice using your laser sight by pointing your Repulsor against a wall. Stand with your arm straight in front of you – you'll notice a bright green dot on the wall. Try pointing it at the ceiling if you can't see it against the wall. This green laser sight is a powerful tool you'll use on missions to help you aim at a target.
Another mode of attack is the Palm Cannon, Iron Man's signature move. To activate the Palm Cannon, flex your wrist up and push forward.
The large, clear dial on the top of the Repulsor is your Navigation Dial. Use it to travel to locations, select missions, and control your settings, including the volume.
The round button with the Playmation logo next to the Navigation Dial is your sync button. This button is used to connect two Repulsors when battling enemies with or against a fellow recruit.
